Toni's Detroit Pizza is the of creation of three Detroit natives, Toni and Pete Sahutske, and Steve Hopkins. Husband and wife Pete and Toni have over 40 years combined in the pizza business and have teamed up with Pete’s uncle Steve, a serial entrepreneur and pizza lover, to bring the Detroit style to Mount Pleasant. They worked for many years at the venerable Buddy’s Pizza, a Detroit institution and Pete also worked at another legendary parlor, the original Loui's Pizza. Through his many years in the business Pete has perfected the art of Detroit style pizza-making and Toni prides herself on offering the kind of first rate service her customers have come to expect. You won’t find anything else like this - crispy deep dish crust, unique brick cheese, baked in authentic blue steel pizza pans.
